Uruguay

I knew very little about Uruguay until I was planning my trip to Argentina. In my research, I thought it sounded like a great place to visit and it did not disappoint! I stayed in a historic building, Salvo Palace. The city is very walkable, and staying next to Independence Plaza gave quick and easy access to city buses, Hop on/off buses and taxis.

1949 Citroen left parked for too long. Or possibly an artwork/planter.

Bronze sculpture created by Jose Belloni in 1967. The sculpture is a battle scene with gauchos, indigenous people, and horses.
